Carrier Specifications at Stars & Stripes Carriers

At Stars & Stripes Carriers, we pride ourselves on partnering with the best carriers in the industry to ensure top-quality service for our clients. To maintain our high standards and efficiency, we have a set of specifications and requirements that all our carrier partners must meet.

Carrier Requirements:

  1. Valid Operating Authority: Carriers must possess an active MC or USDOT number with a good standing record.

  2. Insurance Requirements:

    • Minimum of $1 million in auto liability insurance.

    • Minimum of $100,000 in cargo insurance.

    • Additional insurance may be required for specific loads (e.g., high-value or oversize loads).

  3. Safety and Compliance: Adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations is mandatory. Carriers must have a satisfactory or above safety rating.

  4. Equipment Standards: All equipment used must be well-maintained and compliant with safety standards. This includes regular inspections and necessary certifications.

  5. Professionalism: We expect all carrier partners to uphold a high level of professionalism. This includes punctuality, communication, and courtesy in all interactions.

Specialized Services Requirements:

For carriers providing specialized services such as oversized loads, hazardous materials (Hazmat), or refrigerated transport, additional certifications and compliance with specific regulations are required.

We encourage our carriers to utilize our Stars & Stripes Carriers Dashboard for efficient load management and communication. Familiarity with modern logistics software and GPS tracking is a plus.
